Pinto 8U International Baseball Classic

Teams from around the globe are already signing up for the 2024 Pinto 8U International Baseball Classic. The tournament is being played in Marion, Illinois at Mtn. Dew Park and Ray Fosse Park. This year’s tournament runs from Friday, July 12th until Sunday, July 14 th . Teams will report to southern Illinois on July 11th with events lined up for the day! Tournament play will start Friday, July 12th with games running from 8:00 am to 10:30 pm, and games will conclude with two championship games on Sunday, July 14th.

Tournament events will be kicked off with a managers and coaches meeting on Thursday July 11th starting at 4:00 pm at TJ’s Diamond Club inside Mtn. Dew Park. After the manager and coaches meeting, there will be a pre-tournament picnic starting at 5:00 pm at Mtn. Dew Park. The picnic will be followed by the Home Run Hitting Contest and Fastest Runner Contest that starts at 6:05 pm,
gates for the contests will open at 5:00 pm.

Concessions will be open for the fans.  We would ask all fans/parents to purchase their $20 tournament pass on Thursday evening prior to the gates opening and skills night.  This $20 pass will include admission into the skills night contest at the stadium as well all the games of the tournament. Dates: July 12-14, 2024 (Report Date: July 11) Location: Mtn Dew Park (1000 Miner Dr Marion, IL 62959) and Marion City Park (1305 North Otis Street Marion, IL 62959). Each team will be guaranteed a minimum of five games. Once pool play is concluded, teams will be seeded and placed in a single elimination round that will result in eight teams being placed in the Championship Bracket and eight teams being placed in the Consolation Bracket. A Champion and Consolation Champion will be determined following the results of those single elimination rounds.
