Pinto 8U International Baseball Classic Starts July 7th

2023 Pinto 8U International Baseball Classic

It’s that time of year again; the crack of the bat, the snap of the glove, the sound of clay beneath cleats. The 2023 Pinto 8U International Baseball Classic is back in Marion, Illinois at Thrillville Ball Park! This year’s classic runs from Friday July 7th to Sunday July 9th, and will feature teams from around the globe. Activities for the classic start Thursday July 6th with a Home Run Hitting Contest and Fastest Runner Contest at 7:00 pm. Players and coaches will be provided a picnic meal beginning at 5:30 pm. Gates will open for the general public an hour before at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $5.00 a day or $20.00 for a weekend pass.

Youth Baseball and Softball players can enjoy the 8U Pinto International Baseball Classic for free by wearing their local jersey to any game. Just stop by the box office to get a ticket.

Every team at this year’s tournament will be guaranteed to play in 6 games and will receive participation banners. Teams will be placed in one of four pools across two divisions; Gold and Red. Each team will play 4 games of pool play and a minimum of two games in the semi-final rounds. Teams will then be seeded and will play in a single elimination tournament to determine division winners and runner-ups. Division winners will be awarded rings, medals and banners. Division runner-ups will receive a banner and medals. There will also be a consolation division as well for the Gold and Red Divisions. The winners and runner-ups in the consolation divisions will receive a banner and medals.
